A Court Session

Come to me, and see
How we could learn
From our past ecstasy -
A lesson from a term.

We shared our time
With expressions
Of expressive rhyme
Expressing our sessions.

We liked playing tennis
And enjoyed the fun game,
You were a source of bliss
In how you kept me tame.

A match in being equal
With some philosophy
Of a Biblical prequel
Sharing philanthropy.

We loved Jesus teaching,
He had a loving essence
Within His preaching
Without pretence.

You are a respectful teacher
With an inner endeavour
Of seeking pleasure
From stormy weather.

Share with me my life
And I'll give you peace
From all of your strife
Of not being my wife.

  1. Love it! That's considerably more romantic than the way my hubby approached us getting married. :)

    1. Thank you for your kind words. Clare used to converse in poems to each other. I saved a lot, but they are saved on a 'word processor' document, and I'm now on 'Word' with Microsoft, so can't open them! Tut.

Glad you have a partner to keep you company.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
