A Good Spell Without Hell

We had a year spell
Of bonding well,
We were good
residing in the hood.
We were caring
And very giving:
We were living
With lots of loving.

You were my serenity
When you were my honey;
You could be funny
And brightly sunny.
You to me were a star –
Drink with me in a bar.

  1. How good it is when things goes well. It reminds me of a quote I read in a book."One has to experience the not so good to appreciate the good times." how true.

    1. Greetings, Yvonne. Yes how true, I didn't used to understand suffering in others as I hadn't suffered much myself, that was when I was young, though! I've had bipolar since I was twenty-five, so now I have a deep understanding of suffering and have empathy for anyone going through a hard-time. I do appreciate my good times, and have lots of fond memories spent with Clare, family and friends. Love love, Andrew. Bye.

  2. This made me smile, Andrew. Whatever happens in the future, you will always have these fond memories of your good times with Clare. I don't know about you, but the longer I live, the more I remember the good and have a tendency to forget the bad.
