A Loving Son

I gladly saw my son yesterday,
He’s stopping for the Weekend,
He told me he is enjoying his stay
While socialising with his girlfriend –
My son isn’t her partner, as he’s gay.
It was nice to catch up together
With both of us having a lot to say,
But eventually we had to sever.

I saw him at my mother’s home
Where he greeted me with a hug,
My loving for him has grown
As he expressed his loving love.
We all miss him as he lives away
But we’ll look forward to his next stay.

  2. No matter how old our offspring are, they're still our "kids," and it's always a treat when they visit. I'm glad you had a nice visit with your son.
