A Respite Without Gripe

My mother has a hip op tomorrow,
I hope this will alleviate her sorrow
Of suffering in pain in her thigh –
With so much meds she is on a high.
My sisters are seeing to her needs
And are planting their own seeds
That all is going to be quite well
From this welcome hospital spell.

Her partner is going in respite
As he suffers from dementia,
He likes the home despite
How he does insanely suffer.
They will miss being together
With both missing each-other.

    1. Thank you, Yvonne for your kind sentiments. It is a worrying time, and I hope all goes well. Brian, her partner, is already familiar with Curzon House, the home where he is temporarily staying, as he attends groups there. Blessings. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
