Christmas
is a week away,
Our
Lord Jesus’ birthday,
Presents
laid under the tree
Duly
for almost everybody,
Some
of the poor go without –
A
lack of food and gifts bout,
Especially
in the third world
Where
many go sadly cold.
I
am going to my Sister’s
For
the tasty seasonal roast,
I’ll
socialise with Nephews
And
toast Kim our nice host.
My
Ex and Son and Daughter
Will
be there sharing laugher.
