The Poor Need A Score

I try to be a Gentleman

And am a wise Christian

With faith in God’s Son,

And with this apt wisdom

I try and emulate His ways

For brighter and better days

With helping the vulnerable

By duly being so charitable.

 

Christmas is a time for giving,

The poor we must be helping,

Plenty are going sadly without

Going through a neglectful bout.

Are you kind enough to so care

By being fruitful with a pear.
