It
is nearing winter,
Autumn
is diminishing,
The
weather is colder –
Soon
to be freezing.
The
leaves have fallen
With
most now rotten.
Snow
is sadly forecast
Which
I hope won’t last.
I
like Spring and Summer,
With
new life blooming,
Where
the sun is sunnier
Warming
your whole being.
Nature
will sadly subside
While
its frosty outside.

Yes, Spring and Summer are so much prettier..but those snowflakes ( each one different ) can evoke song and rhyme and verse..Great poem..love Joy
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy, for your kind words. I know the snow can be pleasant, especially for children! It can be picturesque, but it is cold! Love love, Andrew. Bye.
DeleteYes Andrew such dark motnings and early eevenings make one wishes it was Spring/summer.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
I too like a lot of sunlight. Spring can be a blessing with nature blossoming.
