Sunrise Can Be A Prize

I like birds chirping
In the early morning
While out walking.
The dawn sunrise
Is a welcome prize
To greet your eyes.
I stroll by the River Dee
With my pet dog Sadie.

Winter is nearly nigh
With Autumn’s goodbye,
Jack Frost will say ‘hi’
As snow falls from the sky.
I long for Spring again
With new life to gain.
