A Fool At School

I have an appointment
For a free health-test,
Checking for an ailment
So I can be at my best,
With this fulfilment
I will flex my chest,
With some amusement
I will have a laugh.

I used to get the cane
For being a nuisance,
It caused me much pain
And also a grievance.
I was in special school
As I was the class fool.
