A Truce With Truth

Cheryl is beautiful,
And I am on the pull,
She is a pretty doll
Made up so prettily -
And so passionately
I'll seek sweet-thee
To act reciprocally
With loving nice me.

I will treat you nice,
Could you be my wife,
I already adore you
With feelings so true.
Our Lord was the Truth
And duly offers a truce.
