Are
you soberly thinking
About
how I am sinking
Into
depths of sad despair
About
you not having care.
Am
I still a suspect of neglect,
Or
do you reason with intellect
That
I no-longer am a bad threat
To
myself – that I have regret.
You
mean all and everything to me,
And
my love is still striving to be
In
your presence, with your essence
Of
no pretence in your appetence.
You
have the patience of a holy saint,
I
am still suffering feeling very faint
From
longing for you to be reciprocal
From
your high-up, celestial pedestal.
You
stand tall, wondering why
As
to try, but don't you deny
My
chivalry and also etiquette
That
was not a hostile threat.
I
duly treated you so very nice,
So
why are you acting like ice,
Being
so cool as to sadly stall
Not
making yourself a fool.
Can't
it be wisely conceivable
That
I am genuinely believable,
As
my intentions are trustworthy
Written
in verses for you to see.
