Home Today From Being Away

My Mother comes back today

From being away on a holiday,

She went to see my Sister Jane

Who picked her up from a train,

My Sister Kim will pick her up –

She does a lot for Mum post-op’,

My Mother is weak on her feet

So stays in from week to week.

 

I will go and see her Saturday,

In the meantime I will so pray

That my Mother makes it home

And that her wisdom has grown.

She needs a mobility scooter –

Advice given by my Brother.
