Lady In Waiting

I am vulnerable to your desire,
Of this I will never-ever tire –
You light up my internal fire.

I am heated with debate
Of whether or not to wait
For a possible nice date.

You are taking your time,
I would like to wine and dine
Your sweet-self with rhyme.

Read my verses and justify
Why you deny to wisely try
And do not wonder why.

My intentions are clear –
I hold you to be my dear
And that I'm being sincere.

I like your hair so nicely fair,
We would be good as a pair –
You know I will always care.

I love your luscious lips,
They’re dreamy to kiss –
Shake your curvy hips.

I will shelter you from the rain,
And alleviate some of your pain
In thinking what you might gain.

I was and acted insanely mad
And was to myself very bad
Which made you sanely sad.

We have the world at our feet,
Together we won't suffer defeat
As we'll be aptly modestly meek.
