Mum Away

My dear sweet Mother

Has gone to see my Sister,

She lives Down South

And is far from a Grouch,

She will look after her

And she’ll sit on her couch

With a nice hot cuppa

With biscuits for supper.

 

Jane works from home

So my Mother is not alone,

She’s enjoying her stay

And comes back on Friday.

She’s getting the train

So it’s less strain for Jane.
