A Turn From A Burn

Let me offer out a hand

To guide you in this land

That can so be a mission

With making a decision

Of forks in the road ahead

That can fill you with dread

As if you take a wrong turn

It may sting like a hot burn.

Follow me on a righteous path

Where hopefully we will laugh

With having a good godly time

That’ll be expressed in rhyme.

Let me lead the way to so play

With playing ball instead of stall.

  1. Forks in the road are always challenging, Andrew. What's interesting to do is look back at turns in your life that changed its direction, things at the time you didn't realize were major forks.

    1. Thank you for visiting, Louise. I can look back at significant turns I took in my life, and one was joining a creative writing class, that introduced me to writing poems. And I've excelled since then, with over fifteen hundred penned on this site alone. Take care. Love love, Andrew.
