We went to Chester today
Where I enjoyed our stay,
We went to the River Dee
Whereby we were happy.
We went to the BoatHouse pub
Whereupon we had some grub,
There was a male singer singing
Which we were greatly enjoying.
There was a band in a bandstand
Of which we thought were grand.
Overall a good time was so had by us all,
We thought it was great and all had a ball,
The music did enthral and was enthralling
To which everyone and us were clapping.
