I am missing my dog Sadie,
She got adopted you so see,
It was because I was not free
As I got locked up in hospital,
Which was to me detrimental
As I loved her with my being
As she was a pet with loving
Who liked all of my petting.
An elderly couple have her,
They live in the countryside,
I hope they walk by the river
With my ex-pet by their side.
I still think of her so fondly
And hope that she is happy.
