Grief Belief

Liking you what do I gain –

A heart of sorrow and pain,

I spend my time with rhyme

About how you are sublime,

But seemingly you’re blind

To what I’m citing in writing,

I was hoping with the belief

That our love was not brief.

Oh woe to me and my grief –

I have yet not laid a wreath

On our lovely loving caring

As we made a good pairing.

I have a scope of some hope

Of so being together forever.
