I cooked a corned beef hash,
Eating it was not a slow fast,
The other residents apt praise
Will see my do it again in days,
We all hadn't had it for a year
So the host could boast most
With a toast of raising cheer
That everyone did so adhere.
I like cooking at tea-time,
I think eating it is sublime,
We all have a portion to fill
Which duly isn't a bitter-pill.
We do not have to do dishes
Which can be a chore disses.
