Drinking And Dancing

I used to like dancing robotics as a kid,

I was quite good at gyrating the moves,

I also liked hip-hop dancing on a pad

As it was enthralling with apt grooves:

I still like dancing but go out much less,

I got told once that I was the very best

They had seen for a while, with a smile,

I duly took it on the chin in some denial.

 

I used to love going out socialising,

I would have the confidence dancing,

I used to like the drinking and eating

At establishments that are duly serving.

Drunken loud behaviour is off putting

For me to go out dancing and drinking.
