Phrases Through The Ages

English have Mum and also Dad,

The Irish say 'Ma', and also 'Da',

Grandmother and also Granddad:

Americans say 'Ma' and also 'Pa'

And Grandma and also Grandpa;:

We duly all use the word Mother

And most say the word 'Father'

And all use Sister and Brother.

 

Family relations we shouldn't fear,

But some parents can be insincere,

And bring a near and dear to tears

And some have this abuse for years.

What is your will for your family -

I hope it is for peaceful harmony.
