Sleeping Less With Stress

Yesterday I saw my mate,
He had gotten up quite late,
He hasn’t been sleeping well
With stressing over being ill,
Two heat attacks he has had,
Which is making him feel sad,
But he gets on with his life
Living with his kids and wife.

I’ve known him from school,
He is not the fool as he’s cool,
Throughout our sad hardship
We have kept our friendship.
We’ve both endured madness
While suffering with stress.

    1. Thank you Yvonne, for your kind words and sentiments. He hardly slept for a while, and had a good nights sleep the night before, to catch up, so he got up late. We'd arranged to meet at eleven! Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.

  2. Sometimes sleep is elusive, especially when stressed over major things like illness. I hope that your friend continues to improve, Andrew.
