The
fireworks scare my pet dog Sadie,
She
shakes and hides behind the settee,
I
aptly put the television on really loud
To
drown out this sad firework crowd,
Sadie
looks at all of the lights flashing
And
almost immediately starts fretting,
She
can cower under the bed stressing
At
the loud noise that is so deafening.
I
feel for my pet and her fears,
She’s
been like this for years,
I
used to enjoy all of the lights
But
now I just moan with vents.
My
Sadie means the world to me
And
I understand her sensitivity.
