Neglect Effect

It’s been two months since I saw Diane,
I would like to see her as much as I can,
She has not even told her daughter yet
And with this I have a lot of sad regret
As I cannot go around to her small flat
To have a pleasing and pleasant chat,
She is decorating at this present time –
Not up for reading any of my rhyme.

Why is she stalling at seeing me,
She still texts saying she is happy,
We’ve been together eight months
And see each-other every two weeks.
This to me is not a good relationship
With hardly any pleasant courtship.

  2. It's hard to maintain a good relationship when you don't see each other very often, but it can be done. My husband was in Vietnam for a whole year early on in our marriage, and it was tough... but we survived. You can, too. And don't forget the old saying: "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." (I hope she's missing you as much as you're missing her.)
