It’s
been two months since I saw Diane,
I
would like to see her as much as I can,
She
has not even told her daughter yet
And
with this I have a lot of sad regret
As
I cannot go around to her small flat
To
have a pleasing and pleasant chat,
She
is decorating at this present time –
Not
up for reading any of my rhyme.
Why
is she stalling at seeing me,
She
still texts saying she is happy,
We’ve
been together eight months
And
see each-other every two weeks.
This
to me is not a good relationship
With
hardly any pleasant courtship.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew.
I hope you meet up with Diane real soon Andrew. A lovely heartfelt poem, a pleasure to read.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Greetings Yvonne. I don't like not seeing Diane and wish she'd see me more! Thank you for your kind words, they are greatly appreciated. Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew.
DeleteIt's hard to maintain a good relationship when you don't see each other very often, but it can be done. My husband was in Vietnam for a whole year early on in our marriage, and it was tough... but we survived. You can, too. And don't forget the old saying: "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." (I hope she's missing you as much as you're missing her.)
ReplyDeleteGreetings Susan. She could see me more if she told her Daughter about me? Thank you for your comment, it is much appreciated. Was your Husband in the forces? Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew.
