A Turn For The Worst

Be careful of the deceit with new people you might meet,
And scrutinise to memorise misconceptions to theorise,
And while you ponder in wonder, think what lays on yonder,
As they can seem to cheer to adhere to their wants and spoils;
Be careful as you bend to mend their directions, as perceptions
Can be misinterpreted, and fears can lead to tears as you close-up,
And scores of engagements can lead to saddened new arrangements
Of not trusting, and to personally suffer this life in the insane gutter.

Wisely befriend, and follow your trend without bend to send you
With a knowledgeable insight that they might help you in a fight,
And they can share a gripe of what you have in your seeing sight,

  1. One has to be careful who they encounter these days Andrew. My area is not very good so have to be on my guard. Loved the verse.
