The
hours pass slowly
Drawing
in the night,
I
can get sadly lonely –
So
heed this plight
With
how I write.
I
can weather a storm with my ink
Which
can make you rationally think,
Distracting
me with faculties to bare
Of
my time-consuming care for Clare.
As
the sentences aptly materialise
And
you weigh up the words for size
I'll
feel a sense of deep achievement –
Duly
a testament to your appeasement.
