Innocent But Proven Guilty

Locked in a cage, surrounded and trapped by medical fools,
Who rather than acknowledge common sense, find reason
In un-sound logic and play around with professional tools,
As in heeding archaic advice by scriptures written by heathens.

What needs scrupulous attention, is a mind struggling to cope
On pharmaceutical concoctions, that is a trial for the patient –
And in a lot of circumstances an error of judgement in a scope
Of neglectful care by staff without the appropriate patience.

Nurses and doctors alike are appeased at the quiet of hidden distress
That is so obviously viciously attacking a victim’s consciousness,
As in to wrestle with your thoughts, and to be agitated in restlessness
Is a palatable taste that satisfies one and not the other in a biased congress.
