We went to visit a vintage railway
Whilst we were on a holiday stay,
The train jolts so caused me pain
As my back took all of the strain,
So needless to say I so won’t again
Go on that train but instead refrain.
But the scenery we saw is heavenly
Like the garden of Eden’s serenity.
The Lakes and Valleys are picturesque
With Windermere being the very best,
It is the largest Lake in Great Britain
Of which I am certain I will go again.
I used to go there twenty years ago
With a boat and young family in tow.
