We went to the River Dee in Chester,
We all enjoyed our walk by the water,
It was so a gloriously sunny day today
And we appreciated enjoying our stay,
We all sat and watched a band playing
Irish folk songs that was very pleasing,
It was packed with tourists and locals
Liking like us the lead singer’s vocals.
We went to the local Boat House pub
Whereupon we all ordered some grub,
There was so a singer singing outside
On the Jetty where we did aptly reside.
There was a horse and cart convention
That duly stirred up attentive attention.
