I am basking in the hot sun,
I like warmth in the shine,
At dawn the sunshine began
And I hope it lasts some time,
I would like to get a suntan
Looking brown on my skin,
I will do all that I duly can
To look good and feel within
A sense of pride with my hide.
The sunshine is forecast all day,
The sun today is out to duly stay,
I am as happy as I so can so be
With the heat lasting you so see.
I hope the sunshine stays this way
As on Monday I am on holiday.
