Oh Hell A Spell In A Cell

All praise Mother Nature

And pray to be in favour

With Her and our Saviour,

All life is God’s splendour

Starting with her behaviour

Of so administering nurture

To you/us and every creature

With Her, Gods, cells fervour.

Will you sing a hymn in Chapel

And be able to bring to a table

A fable from a testament parable

That can be a choice to a voice

To sing out loud so in a crowd

And teach, preach to beseech

That Mother Nature is a peach

And can be in reach from a cell

Being in a spell of earthly hell

  1. Hi, Andrew! I can't use a link to find your blog, but I can google it and find it that way. I bookmarked your blog somewhere, but I can't find the bookmark ~ lol. It's my ADHD brain!

I think my favorite parable is the one about the lost sheep. It doesn't relate to nature, but it does teach that Jesus cares for a lost sheep and will go looking for it. So I find that hopeful, even when I'm in an agnostic phase.

I have not been in your situation where I couldn't physically access nature. But I have several places I can go to in my mind that put me in nature mentally. One I can access through the word "river." That takes me immediately to a place on the Margaree River in Nova Scotia. Another I can reach with "Navajo Sandstone." That puts me on a sandstone bluff outside of Bluff, Utah. A third is "paddle board." That puts me on a paddle board in the water off Waikiki on Oahu, Hawaii. Each of these places is a healing, calming place for me, and if I'm having a difficult time, I visit one of them in my mind. Since I can visit mentally, as long as I can think and imagine, I can go there any time. Perhaps you have a special place in Cumbria or somewhere else you love that you already visit in your mind or that you could start to visit mentally. I'm so sorry that you have been in earthly hell in a cell. May you never land back there again.

    1. Greetings, Louise. Sorry you are having problems accessing my blog? I'm bemused. I go to Lake Windermere often in my thoughts, as I used to go there every other Weekend, with my Partner and children, and when my kids were off school, as we had so much fun there. I had a speed boat back then, and we all participated in water sports. And just riding the waves, from the large boats, was great fun. I would love to again go there with a boat, and enjoy the Lake with my Children (who are now adults, with my Daughter having two kids of her own).

I have been in a cell in the past, but it was through my mentality, as I was a violent psychopath! Thankfully it didn't last, as I got well, through having Injected medication. But in this instance, the cell is Mother Nature being a cell. And being in earthly hell, is her being frozen for millions of years in the ice! Sorry you misunderstood the piece, as reading it back myself, it can be misinterpreted. So sorry for it being a bit ambiguous and vague.

You know, Jesus was the first Man in history, to talk in analogies, he was so clever. I'm glad you like His parables. I was a lost sheep at one time, and Jesus found me, as I found Him?

Take extra special care of yourself. Thank you for visiting. Love love, Andrew.
