Here To Last A Colourful Canvass

The lake reflecting the sunlight shining,

Boats on the glistening water so sailing,

The windy wind on their sails blowing,

Adults with children happily swimming,

Me on the shoreline duly just watching

Enjoying the scenery that is so swaying,

Jet-skis riding the lake waves motoring,

The sun rising with clouds diminishing.

If it were a picture it would be by Picasso

As the painting before me is like a show

Of brush strokes depicting his apt talent

That’s a scenery picturesque with a flow

Of vibrant colours that blend on canvass

With beautiful flowers and greenery grass.
