I so like a nice and quiet drink
Whereupon I so duly can think
Of my predicament in a motion
Of being in a home segregation,
As my freewill is so being tested
As I cannot drink to get wasted,
But this is my lot, or fate I hate
As it's not an option up for debate.
But what is so a positive from a negative
Is I will not fall back into past days of age
Whereupon I was a drunk being sensitive
To kicking off, so I've now turned a page.
I am in a new chapter of writing my book
And with my poetic verses you take a look.
