Applaud Our Lord

Jesus, our Lord who is in heaven,

Preached and taught the heathen

To be righteous with their integrity –

To believe in God who’s heavenly.

 

Our Father, who gave us free will,

Is here in His Spirit to aptly instil

That to worship and praise Him

Is not dissimilar to our loving kin.

 

Our Lord is a beacon shining bright,

Bask in Him shining and be alight,

Come to Him, God and the Spirit

And wash your sins away with it.

 

Go to a Church and find company

Of a loving fellowship so so happy

As Christians are now Jesus’ light –

Teaching a Truth they shine bright.

 

Follow their path and lead His way

And your tomorrow might be today

As in to pray for everlasting peace

Is a cause worth fighting to preach.
