I Love My Family

I’m going for a meal later
At The Little Owl pub,
Organised by my Sister
Who likes their grub.
I’m meeting family
At about half-two,
I am glad it’s sunny
As they will be too.

I’ve reached half a century,
As it’s my birthday today,
My family will present to me
Gifts to open without delay.
I love my family who’re close
With none of them being morose.
